I'M NEW TO JAX, WHERE DO I BEGIN?


I ALWAYS TELL CLIENTS, NO MATTER WHAT AGE, GENDER, OR SKIN TYPE, TO PUT ASIDE ALL OF YOUR PRODUCTS FOR AT LEAST TWO WEEKS, (ALTHOUGH WE HOPE LONGER), + TO START WITH THE TONER + BALANCE OIL MORNING AND NIGHT. THIS ACCLIMATES THE SKIN TO USING OIL IF YOU NEVER HAVE BEFORE, AS WELL AS ADJUSTS AN IRREGULAR OIL PRODUCTION. AFTER THESE FIRST TWO WEEKS, YOU CAN THEN ADD PRODUCTS A LA CARTE. I ALWAYS SUGGEST THE NEXT TO PRODUCTS TO ADD ARE THE EXFOLIATOR ONCE A WEEK. CONTINUE TO ADD PRODUCTS INTO YOUR REGIMEN AS YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE. WHY IS THERE NOT A CLEANSER IN THE LINE?

WE DON'T BELIEVE IN CLEANSING. THERE. WE SAID IT. WE BELIEVE CLEANSERS ARE TOO STRIPPING FOR THE SKIN, + CONTRIBUTE TO SKIN CONDITIONS SUCH AS ACNE + AGING. (+ IN OUR OPINION, A JUST ANOTHER MARKETING TO ADD ANOTHER PRODUCT INTO THE LINE).
WITH THAT BEING SAID, WE DO BELIEVE IN CLEANING THE SKIN- JUST IN A DIFFERENT WAY: BY USING TONERS + EXFOLIATORS (EITHER ON ITS OWN OR DILUTING WITH WATER). WE STRIP THE SKIN LESS, LETTING THE SKIN DO ITS THING. HAVING OUR OIL PRODUCTION NATURALLY REGULATE ITSELF, WITHOUT ALTERING IT, INSTEAD JUST AIDING THE PROCESS. THIS CONTRIBUTES TO LESS BLEMISHES, INFLAMMATION, + FINE LINES/WRINKLES.


HOW DO I REMOVE MAKEUP?

BECAUSE THE JAX PHILOSOPHY DOESN'T BELIEVE IN A CLEANSER, WE LIKE TO REMOVE OUR MAKEUP IN DIFFERENT WAYS FOR DIFFERENT MAKEUP APPLICATIONS.

  • FOR SUPER LIGHT MAKEUP REMOVAL (LIKE CC CREAM OR POWDERS): TONER + COTTON PAD.
  • FOR REGULAR MAKEUP REMOVAL: WARM WATER + WASH CLOTH.
  • FOR HEAVY MAKEUP REMOVAL: DILUTE THE EXFOLIATOR WITH WATER TO GENTLY CLEAN THE SKIN.



IS THE BALANCE OIL GOOD FOR BLEMISH PRONE SKIN?

YES! IN FACT, IT WAS SPECIFICALLY MADE FOR BLEMISH PRONE SKIN. THE ANTIBACTERIAL + ANTISEPTIC PROPERTIES IN THE OIL ACTUALLY HELP PREVENT BREAKOUTS AS WELL AS TIGHTEN THE PORES FOR A MORE FLAWLESS, EVEN COMPLEXION.


WHERE DO I USE THE BALANCE OIL IN MY ROUTINE?

THINK OF THE OIL AS A MOISTURIZER. THIS SHOULD ALWAYS GO AFTER TONER, SERUM + BEFORE DAY CREAM/NIGHT CREAM.


CAN YOU USE THE BALANCE OIL UNDER MAKEUP?

YES. THE OIL WORKS AS AN AMAZING PRIMER BECAUSE IT TIGHTENS THE PORES, REDUCES REDNESS + INFLAMMATION, FOR A MORE DEWY, NATURAL LOOK. ( + HOPEFULLY YOU CAN WEAR EVEN LESS MAKEUP BECAUSE OF IT).


CAN YOU USE OTHER PRODUCT LINES WITH JAX?

YES! IF YOU ARE NEW TO JAX YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO DIVE RIGHT INTO THE JAX THEORY AND START WITH THE BALANCE OIL + TONER FOR TWO WEEKS, + THEN INTEGRATE OTHER PRODUCTS FROM THE LINE INTO YOUR REGIMEN. OR YOU CAN ADD THE JAX PRODUCTS INTO YOUR CURRENT ROUTINE. (YES, YOU CAN KEEP YOUR CLEANSER IN YOUR ROUTINE IF YOU'D LIKE!).


HOW OFTEN SHOULD I BE USING THE TREATMENTS?

TREATMENTS ARE USED FOR TARGETING SPECIFIC ISSUES. THE EXFOLIATOR IS TO REMOVE SUPERFICIAL DEAD SKIN BUILD UP. THE MASK IS TO DETOX + HYDRATE. THESE TREATMENTS ARE RECOMMENDED 1X A WEEK. BUT, WE BELIEVE YOU KNOW YOUR SKIN BEST. ONCE YOU GET COMFORTABLE WITH YOUR NEW PRODUCTS, AND HOW THEY ACT WITH YOUR SKIN, YOU CAN PLAY AROUND AND USE AS YOU FEEL IS NEEDED. SOME WEEKS MAY BE DIFFERENT THAN OTHERS.


WHICH PRODUCTS ARE BEST FOR ANTI AGING?

ALL OF THE PRODUCTS IN THE LINE ARE, BUT A FEW IN PARTICULAR TARGETED TOWARDS ANTI AGING: TONER, SERUM, AND THE OIL.


WHAT IS THE CORRECT WAY TO LAYER JAX PRODUCTS?

EVERY SKINCARE LINE IS DIFFERENT IN THE CORRECT WAY TO LAYER YOUR PRODUCTS. IN OUR LINE IT GOES AS FOLLOWS:

HOW LONG DO JAX PRODUCTS LAST?

OUR PRODUCTS HAVE A SHELF LIFE OF 12 MONTHS. DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR PRODUCTS, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE EXPIRATION DATE. WE UNFORTUNATELY DO NOT PUT EXPIRATION DATES ON OUR PRODUCTS (WE'RE WORKING ON IT). FOR NOW, PLEASE HELP US OUT BY BEING YOUR OWN ADVOCATE FOR YOUR SKINCARE + ENSURING THE FRESHNESS.
